Continuing to expand: ipartment with new serviced apartment building in Duesseldorf-Oberkassel

  • Sustainable revitalization of an existing building with targeted BREEAM certification

  • 105 fully equipped serviced apartments

  • Completion planned for the 1st quarter of 2026

Cologne/Duesseldorf - ipartment, one of the leading providers in the business long-stay segment, signed another rental agreement for a new serviced apartment building in Duesseldorf-Oberkassel right at the start of the year. “We are continuing our dynamic expansion strategy in 2025,” says Ralph Stock, shareholder and CEO of ipartment GmbH.

The project, which is located at Hansaallee 224-228, is characterized by sustainability, high-quality interior design and modern living comfort. The existing building with a brick façade is being modernized as part of a comprehensive refurbishment. The aim is to achieve BREEAM certification (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method), which underlines the commitment to ecological, social and economic sustainability. “The careful refurbishment allows us to conserve resources and at the same time create a high-quality living environment for our guests in the familiar ipartment design and style,” reports Ralph Stock.

From the first to the third floor, 105 serviced apartments will be built on a gross floor area of around 4,000 square meters. The building is arranged in an H-shape and offers a green inner courtyard to linger in. Categories XS, S, M and L are on offer, which are ideally tailored to the needs of business travelers, expats and commuters. Guests will have 90 parking spaces available in the building's own underground garage. A fitness studio will move into the first floor of the building and enrich the urban offerings of the district. A public transport stop is located in the immediate vicinity.

The owner of the property is Projektisten Nr.06 GmbH & Co. KG from Duesseldorf. Projektisten will implement the revitalization of the building in collaboration with the architectural firm Christ from Siegen. The project is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of 2026.
