Cologne – With the two newest locations in Cologne - in addition to the building at Hamburg Airport and the Kesselhaus in Leverkusen - ipartment has already signed contracts for 360 new serviced flats in the first two months of 2024. "We are thus consistently pursuing our expansion strategy," says Ralph Stock, co-owner and CEO of ipartment GmbH. In the Cologneo-Campus located next to the Cologne Trade Fair, a new sustainable quarter that combines living, working, commerce and gastronomy as well as art and culture, 178 serviced flats will be built by autumn 2026. The flats, ranging in size from 22 to 38 square metres, will be built on around 6,000 square metres over four floors. The project developer is CG Elementum AG, whose Cologne branch is also located on the site. "We are delighted to welcome the serviced flat operator ipartment as a new tenant. This partnership is an important step towards further filling the site with life. Last but not least, we are creating the conditions for operating the entire neighbourhood in a climate-neutral manner," says Ulf Graichen, CEO/CDO of CG Elementum AG. All flats will be furnished in the usual sophisticated design and high quality. There will be a large design lounge with working space, a digital self-service kiosk, rental bicycles and an underground car park with e-charging stations. The second new Cologne property is located opposite the Cologne Opera House. In the first quarter of 2025, 31 designer flats are expected to be built there in a listed building designed by Cologne architect Wilhelm Riphahn (1889-1963). The serviced flats, ranging in size from 20 to 45 square metres, are spread over four floors with a total area of 1,020 square metres. This ipartment building, which is centrally located in Cologne's city centre, will also have a club lounge with working space. A catering offer is planned for the ground floor. The owner is the LCL Immobilien Group.
