Cologne, December 11, 2025 – Right in the heart of Cologne city center, ipartment GmbH is opening its new building today on the historic Offenbachplatz. Just a few steps away from the opera house, opposite the so-called 4711 House and in the immediate vicinity of the major shopping streets Schildergasse and Hohestraße, and not far from Altermarkt and the Rhine.

Nestled in a listed ensemble designed by renowned architect Wilhelm Riphahn (1889-1963), the new property offers 29 modern serviced apartments for business travelers, project staff, creative professionals, and urban travelers—ideal for long and short stays.

The existing property was adapted to the requirements of serviced apartment use by the LCL Immobilien Group from Düsseldorf as project developer – and now combines architectural history with contemporary design and urban functionality.

The fully equipped serviced apartments, ranging in size from approximately 19 to 43 square meters, are spread over four floors with a total area of 1,020 square meters. This ipartment building also features a club lounge with a workspace and digital mini-supermarket, as well as a laundry room.
