HafenCity is located on the water, between Speicherstadt and the Elbphilharmonie. The old town begins just behind it. A tip from our team: Most restaurants in Hamburg close at 21:00. It’s better to plan your evening a little earlier.

Fleet lock
The small house on Brooktorkai dates from 1885 and was once a customs house. Today it is a restaurant with a terrace. Our team sends guests here for typical Hamburg dishes. It is known for its Fish & Chips, fish sandwiches and labkaus.

Oberhafen canteen
A small, wind-swept house from 1925, built as a coffee shop for port and shipyard workers. The interior has been preserved in its original state; the outside features a terrace. Northern German cuisine such as labkaus, matjes or cod are served on the table, along with homemade bread and mustard.
Bridge 10
Fish sandwiches right on the landing bridges, overlooking the Elbe River and the sun terrace. Because both Hamburgers and guests come here, you sometimes have to wait a little longer. For example, they are served with Bismarck herring, matjes, backfish or North Sea crabs.

Vegan Asian tapas, as called by our teams in HafenCity and Eimsbüttel. TA Vegan House is available twice: at Reimarusstraße 13 (20459 Hamburg) on the port in Neustadt and at Neuen Großen Bergstraße 11 (22767 Hamburg) in Altona.

Strauchs Falco
Grill and seafood restaurant right on the water, with a large terrace. The name comes from the golden colored curtains with twelve falcons that characterize the space. The menu features Tatar, ceviche and seafood plates, as well as labka soup and cuts from the lava grill.

Coast by East

Bootshaus
Grill restaurant with cuts of beef, right in the HafenCity area. You can either look into the open kitchen or over the Grasbrook harbor. A weekly changing menu complements the grill classics with fish.

Water castle
A popular photo motif between two people is called Kanäle in Hamburg. In the tea shop, there are around 30 tea varieties on the menu, from a total of 250 you choose with the staff. There are also classics and Northern German dishes such as labkaus and rote grütze.

Restaurant and market hall in the Oberhafen quarter, a creative and cultural center between old brick buildings. In the afternoons and evenings, regional, seasonal cuisine featuring plenty of vegetables is served, along with fish and meat from the region. In the summer, you can sit on the terrace.

You get an entire apartment instead of a room, with its own kitchen and living area. Like in a hotel, you check in around the clock and can reach us at any time personally. There is no breakfast buffet, bar, or room service. In exchange, you have more space and more peace and quiet.
