ipartment expands airport expertise

All good things come in threes: In addition to Frankfurt and Berlin, a flat block is now also coming to Hamburg Airport

Cologne - The rental agreement has been signed: The leading provider in the long-stay segment, Cologne-based ipartment GmbH, is to open another serviced apartment building in the immediate vicinity of Hamburg Airport. "We are thus developing into an airport specialist," says Ralph Stock, co-owner and CEO of ipartment GmbH, with a twinkle in his eye.

After Frankfurt and Berlin, this is now the ipartment Group's third property located at an airport, as well as in Hamburg itself - alongside Hamburg Hafencity and Emsbüttel. The airport portfolio will thus be expanded to a total of 345 serviced flats nationwide for the time being. "In Hamburg, we are starting at the airport with 119 serviced flats ranging in size from 20 to 41 square metres," explains Marcus Löwe, COO and authorised signatory of ipartment GmbH.

All flats will be furnished in the usual sophisticated design and high quality. In addition to the digitalised guest journey, there will once again be a design lounge and a digital self-service kiosk as well as an underground car park with parking spaces for guests.

The property is being customised and built to the latest standards for ipartment GmbH as the sole tenant. The landlord is a subsidiary of the Adore Group, a nationwide property developer and project developer from Berlin.

Die derzeitige Auslastung der Häuser liegt bei 92 Prozent. Davon sind 90 Prozent Business- und die restlichen 10 Prozent Privat-Reisende. Die durchschnittliche Aufenthaltsdauer im Longstay-Bereich liegt bei ipartment bei 45 Tagen.
Die rund 70 Mitarbeiter betreuen derzeit 17 Standorte sowie einen Co-Working-Space. Die weitere Expansion – gerade in das europäische Ausland – steht im Fokus.
