Let's face it: If you want to go fast during the week, a coffee and a roll on the hand has to be enough. Because in front of your ipartment doorstep the choice of nice cafés is sparse, yet there is of course a selection of bakeries at the train station. The following three addresses are recommendations for a more extensive breakfast on the weekend.

Cafe Woog
Definitely the best choice on a clear and sunny day: the terrace of Café Woog by the natural swimming pool. But it's also nicely spacious inside and strikes the perfect note between chic and cozy. With its huge window front, the café is a pleasure even on rainy days. The breakfast menu is clear from no. 1 to no. 6, eggs in many variations and muesli yogurt bowls can be chosen. And that, until 2.30 p.m.! From breakfast you can go seamlessly into the coffee and cake business, or go over to dinner – or jump into the water in between and come back. Café 3Klang
In the middle of the Martinsviertel, Café 3 Klang is considered a hub when it comes to extended breakfasts. The variations range from French breakfast to Shalom Shakshuka. Eggs in every imaginable preparation are on the menu, as are pancakes and French toast. And the best of all, in summer, life takes place outside under large umbrellas on a tranquil square called Riegerplatz. (Riegerplatz 3)
„Café Schuhknecht“
Café Schuhknecht is located between the university quarter and the so called Martinsviertel. It is a very good place to start the day with a latte macchiato. Because despite the concrete, it's cozy here and in summer the boundaries of indoors and outdoors fade away when the windows to the terrace are fully opened. Various butter sandwiches, egg specialties are available as well as bowls and a good selection of vegan breakfast options starting at 9:30 am. (Schuhknechtstraße 16)
