Serviced living at Offenbachplatz opposite the Cologne Opera
Cologne, December 11, 2025 – Right in the heart of Cologne’s city center, ipartment GmbH today opens its new home on the traditional Offenbachplatz. Just a few steps from the opera, opposite the so-called 4711 house and in close proximity to the major shopping streets Schildergasse and Hohestraße and not far from Alter Markt and the Rhine.
Nestled within a listed building complex designed by renowned architect Wilhelm Riphahn (1889-1963), the new property offers 29 modern serviced apartments for business travelers, project collaborators, creatives, and urban travelers – ideal for long- and short-term stays.
The existing property was adapted to the requirements of serviced apartment use by the LCL Immobilien Group from Düsseldorf as a project developer – and now combines architectural history with contemporary design and urban functionality.

The fully equipped serviced apartments, measuring approximately 19 to 43 square meters, are spread over four floors with a total area of 1,020 square meters. This apartment building also features a club lounge with a working space and a digital mini-supermarket, as well as a laundry room.
